Palm Beach Gardens, FL — Local author and musician Alex Gadala has been quietly preparing something unforgettable.
A graduate of the University of Notre Dame and a longtime software developer by trade, Alex Gadala steps into the literary spotlight with his debut novel, Through the Path of the Silent Mockingbird — a thrilling mystery novel about hidden memories, gripping silence, and truths that refuse to stay buried. While the full story has yet to be revealed, the first clues are already beginning to surface.

Inspired by a song composed on the day a close friend passed away, the novel merges lyrical storytelling style with emotional suspense. Told through the voices of a young police officer and an enthusiastic teenager navigating grief and personal challenges, the narrative unfolds into a hidden path through a web of secrets — and a mockingbird that may hold more answers than anyone expects.
Beginning July 29, 2025, readers can preview the first chapter for free at alexgadala.com/silentmockingbird. Visitors can also sign up for early updates, exclusive behind-the-scenes content, and priority notification ahead of limited-edition Kickstarter rewards.
A special VIP Backer Sign-Up ($2) is also available for early supporters who want guaranteed first access to select reward tiers before the official Kickstarter launch.
“This story began with a melody I wrote the day I lost a close friend,” says the author. “Over time, it became something more — a story about grief, memory, and the quiet voices we try to ignore.”
The pre-launch campaign that begins on July 29, 2025 will lead into the full Kickstarter launch this fall on October 28, 2025.
Through the Path of the Silent Mockingbird is the first installment in a planned trilogy of novels that explores the spaces between words and the emotional aftershocks of trauma, guilt, and redemption.
In parallel, Alex Gadala is also producing a trilogy of musical albums rooted in his multicultural background, weaving together rock, trova, and Latin rhythms — a celebration of sound, identity, and memory.
